For Angelica Hicks, it was obvious that she didn’t look at the world of fashion like many others did – she saw it as a business opportunity and a fantastical world that she had to be a part of. Instead of taking photos in clothing or snapping from the latest shows, she takes a some retro approach – she illustrates what she sees.
She took her talent and started making pun and word-game drawings of some of fashion’s most prolific figures. From there, she gained a following of people in fashion and out of it who loved her work.
