FASHION: Intel wants to be a tech ‘enabler’ for the fashion industry
When you think about the “big times” in the fashion industry, you might think about all of the Fashion Week activities and Awards Season. What you probably don’t think about is Festival Season, including the infamous Coachella. All of the Bohemian-lite looks that people sport when attending these events, including cut-off shorts, boots, peasant tops, and hats that they probably wouldn’t wear at any other time of the year have trickled into mainstream fashion.
Fashion resisted it for a few years, but now The New York Times explains that they are embracing it, especially in Ready to Wear fashion.
What do you think about the festival fashion scene – is it a worthy place for big name designers to design specifically for or should it be left as it is?
